Typical energy efficiency measures may include:
Lighting: High-performance fluorescent or LED lighting.
Refrigeration: Anti-condensation door heaters, Evaporator fan controls and more.
Natural Gas Heat and Hot Water: Spray nozzles, Shower heads, Aerators,
Programmable thermostat, Energy management systems, Pipe and duct insulation.

HOW DOES THE PROGRAM WORK? Start with a free, no-obligation energy analysis by AECOM. You will receive a comprehensive proposal of possible energy efficiency measures with the complete costs and estimated savings, along with the incentives and financing options. Once your paperwork is signed, your project will begin within 30 days. You have the option to pay nothing up front. Mass Save incentives that cover up to 70% of the total installed costs will be paid directly to the contractor by EVERSOURCE. Interest-free financing is available for qualified customers. Typically, the energy savings pay for the improvements in less than 1 year.
For example, an office changes to energy-efficient lighting, installs lighting controls and faucet aerators for a total cost of $21,625. Incentives cover $15,137. Monthly energy savings estimated at $409 lead to a Simple Payback in 1.3 years. A restaurant installs energy-efficient lighting, occupancy sensors and refrigeration controls for a total cost of $6,091. Incentives cover $4,265. Monthly energy savings estimated at $203 lead to a 9-month Simple Payback.
